The little drone with a reputation for hunting down drug smugglers for the U.S. Coast Guard is ready for an upgrade.
Meet ScanEagle3.
Built by Insitu, a Washington-based pioneer in next-generation unmanned aircraft, the ScanEagle3 is the newest model of their popular ScanEagle drone, which is currently tasked with helping the U.S. Coast Guard find illegal drug traffickers.
Not only is ScanEagle3 able to lift twice the weight, carry multiple payloads, and fly longer than previous versions, but the pint-sized drone can also be used for commercial applications outside of the military, including disaster response, communications, and maritime search and monitoring.
Excited about ScanEagle3? We are too.
