As a proud supplier to NASA’s Artemis program, and a participant in the vital Moon to Mars program, I am writing to express our strong support for robust funding of NASA’s Artemis campaign and to urge you to provide the maximum funding possible in the FY2026 appropriations bill. The Artemis campaign stands as NASA's flagship initiative, aiming to return humans to the lunar surface for the first time in over 50 years. This program is not only about exploration; it is about establishing a sustainable presence on the Moon and preparing for future crewed missions to Mars. A recent Economic Impact Report from NASA highlighted the significance of the Moon to Mars campaign, including Artemis, which generated over $23.8 billion in total economic output and supported more than 96,400 jobs across every state in the nation. Despite receiving less than one half of one percent of the federal budget, NASA generates over three times that amount in economic output. This remarkable return on investment is due to several factors: the development of advanced technologies with applications on Earth, the encouragement of start-up companies and technical innovation, the attraction of international prestige and peaceful cooperation, and the inspiration it provides for STEM education and workforce development. As our reliance on space continues to grow, it is imperative that we maintain a strong and healthy supply chain to support our national interests. The Artemis Program has proven effective in building and sustaining a space industrial supply chain, creating over 96,000 direct jobs and involving 2,700 companies. The Artemis program is extremely important to our company, <COMPANY NAME>, located in <CITY, STATE>. Maintaining funding in FY2026 for the Artemis program is essential to supporting supply chain companies like ours and to support program's schedule for returning astronauts to the Moon before China's planned landing in 2030. Continued support for the Artemis program in FY2026 is vitally important. We look forward to working with you to ensure that the United States remains at the forefront of space exploration and innovation.
